The Fried Chicken is the best we have tasted! The beef Chipotle Benedict were awesome as well. Great food, nice place and service. A must-go-to-eat place in Walworth, Wisconsin.
Excellent service. Food was great too at real good price. The atmosphere was bright with large windows, making a good start to the day. I was surprised I liked thick French toast but it was very good. Sugar. Free syrup was a nice alternative.
What a great breakfast! The Eggs Benedict was excellent - perfect eggs, hollandaise sauce, and Canadian bacon. A side of pancakes would only have been improved if real maple syrup was offered. We also had Sammy’s BLT avocado toast. A winner for my girl! There were many other menu items that made choosing challenging. We’ll be back.
Wow, this place is amazing!! 🤩 Bulka and Eddie provided excellent and warm customer service. The food was delicious, my girls were so happy we stopped here during our trip. Highly recommended!
This past early June marked the very first time dining here and was actually a delightful experience. Only the 2nd time ever being in town, the first time was a few years back when I took my family on a ride which was secretly a slow road trip to Lake Geneva. Anyways, we ended up having breakfast here because my wife had ordered a birthday cake from a popular cakery in town and I mentioned to wife that I can't see driving an hour to pick a cake up then head straight back home so breakfast it was. Julie Michelle had recommended Sammy's even though I had already Googled "breakfast restaurants in Walworth WI". That's one thing I don't get to have much is breakfast out with my wife alone, luckily my folks agreed to watch our boys while we were out. We've been to plenty of breakfast/lunch venues both in IL (we live in NE Lake County) and WI both local and franchise but the food here is better than most we've eaten at and my wife & I noticed the coffee was notably flavorful than any other we've been to. Sammy's is probably the most popular family restaurant in the area and glad we could stop in, always like supporting small local businesses. I wish for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).
This place made the top 10 of breakfasts in my entire life! Recommend the brisket and sweet potato skillet eggs over easy This will blow your mind. You won't believe they did this. I'm coming back. Super clean and nice restrooms. It's worth the drive.
EAT BREAKFAST HERE!!!!! Had the chicken fried steak and eggs - Amazingly good
Very nice family restaurant. I got the Ribeye with jumbo shrimp, baked potato and salad. Steak was good, portions are good size. The only negative thing I have to say is the potato was kinda mealy (dry?) Inside. The salad dressing (blue cheese) was served in a packet, but ok. But here's the thing, that meal was $19.95! Everything on it was very reasonable, especially by today's standards. They do up charge the bill by 3.5% for a credit card, but that's kinda the norm now. This restaurant was my Mom's birthday choice, she's 84. She has the stir fry and also likes the tilapia. My parents have been coming here for years. No real dessert options other than ice cream. I wouldn't care normally, but was just looking for something due to my Mom's birthday. Service was great, family run I could tell.
The staff at Sammy's was phenomenal. Took a large group of 25ish. Called ahead and they said come on over. They had plenty of servers taking orders (I even overheard them as they made a plan to work together to get us served in a timely manner) and got us all fed in under an hour. They didn't rush us eventhough they were closing soon. They were so appreciative and thanked us all for the business as we all left. Definitely recommend.
I had a wonderful breakfast experience here. The service was outstanding from the moment we arrived, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel welcome throughout our visit. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and excellent flavor, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality you receive. If you're in the area and looking for a great breakfast spot, I highly recommend stopping by. It's definitely a place I'll be returning to.
